Furthermore, the strength of the pipe itself and the method of coupling with other parts have been studied, and the use of appropriate rubber dampers has eliminated harmful resonance that impairs sound quality and records. It is a static balance type with high stability, and by adopting a stylus pressure application system with a simple and reliable sub-weight, troubles due to complication of the mechanism are prevented. The lateral balance can be adjusted wby using the eccentric main weight. Rotating the main weight changes the center of gravity of the arm. Adjustment of stylus pressure is a direct reading system, and a linear scale allows critical adjustment without a stylus pressure gauge.
