For sale is the amazing Metrum Acoustics Adagio DAC and pre-amplifier. This is in as new condition and the only visible marks are on the base where it has sat on Panzerholtz ball bearing feet, otherwise I looked hard to see any marks and couldnt.This is an ex-dem model and only used to demonstrate the use connected directly to power amps etc. Comes with all the original box and extras including the i2S module. Retail for this is now around £5400 and having heard many more expensive DACs, this is still an amazing DAC especially if you just want to connect this to power amps. Very analogue and organic sound. I will include a Argenti Ultra power cord worth £350 and a set of 3 Panzerholtz feet if sold for the asking price.I also know exactly which digital cable this DAC likes so will be happy to discuss this too. In my opinion a much better all round DAC than the Pavane etc as you get 85% of it for less than half the price. The only DAC I know to show this one up is a DAC by Aqua which retails for £7,500. 4 x DAC3 modules which are the latest and currently unavailable versions of their DAC chip. I could also include the DAC 2 chips, you can then swap them around to see which you prefer and recoup some cash by selling the other set of DAC chips. Takes AES, USB, Optical and Coaxial. Outputs RCA and balanced XLR.
