One of the very best sounding tuners - check it out on FM Tuner Info site - some extracts from the review : This little jewel is the smallest FM tuner on our comparisons list. It measures only 5-1/2 inches (14 cm) wide, 11-3/4 inches (30 cm) deep and with feet, just over 2 inches (5 cm) high. Thats not counting the funky 1-1/4 (3 cm) switches on the front, MUTE, TUNE and STATION. The STATION switch is in fact a rotating dial which has six selections from 0 to 6, assuming 0 is mute? Positions 1 through 6 have corresponding tuning setters that have to be adjusted with a very small jewelers screwdriver and after adjusting to the station of your choice, you flip the TUNE switch down to fine-tune that station. These adjustments are similar to those on the Magnum Dynalab FT-11. This Meridian is an always-on tuner. There is no fancy wide/narrow, muting, blend, or extraneous noise-reduction circuitry in the 104 tuner - just the minimum to let the music shine through from the airwaves. This little Meridian tuner is open, airy and lifelike even if the tuning isnt perfect this Meridian plays happily along. After adjusting the aerial correctly and I started listening again. Well, the Jewel of the Meridian turned out to be the high point of my day. While the bass was rich, warm and wonderful and that midrange! Here we have a real treat. From the lower midrange all the way to the top, these two tuners were very close sonic twins. The Meridian sounds much more like the L-02T than other tuners weve pitted against it. There is a hint more midrange openness to the Meridian and a little loss of perceived front-to-rear depth. This may come from the slight loss of bass and dynamics compared to the L-02T. When I get a tuner that sounds this nice, I usually turn the L-02T off and enjoy it. That is the plan for this jewel all weekend. It may be small but it sure does shine.

Meridian 104 FM tuner Dark chocolate brown (not black finish) FM tuner. 6 Presets UK voltage Very good condition: check photographs — note small areas of paint chipped to reveal metal casing under. Works flawlessly strongly pulling BBC stations in London, interference free with simple ribbon aerial. Note short power lead with UK mains plug. Could be lengthened easily. Note classic Quad / Meridian DIN connection for signal out. I will include for potential re-use —but note this does not work, requiring wiring re-termination— DIN to RCA phono adapter with nicely made SME made phono female plugs. Serviced by Highview Video, North London, three years ago (I will try to find the receipt and post): engineer / owner told me he uses this same model tuner at home. Stored since, just checked and working well. Boothroyd Stuart Meridian Tuner 104 Tuner finds stations and works. Case is in good condition. However, the meter does not work and one of the crossbar feet is missing. The tuning is noisy but it will lock onto stations. At the very least it will need a new crossbar (or feet) and a service. It is therefore sold as spares or repair. This item will make a good project for someone who knows about tuners. If you have any questions please ask. I have other Hi Fi items listed and I am always open to sensible offers. Please see my feedback. I have been an ebay member since 2001. The item will be carefully and securely packaged and sent recorded. Collection in person is welcome, once payment is made. Professional reviews highlight their ‘superb imaging, midrange integrity and liquid top end. ‘ He followed up that he had ‘rarely heard anything to match it.’ Note the speakers casings have mild markings but the speakers themselves are still in superb order. The package includes the M562V.2 multimedia controller. This can play the CD or Tuner output on all four speakers, or if preferred the two pairs of speakers can play the different inputs (as they can be in different rooms.). Alongside the package also includes the CD player M500 and the FM tuner 504. I’m addition there are two infrared detectors so the system can be operated remotely near the speakers via the handsets. Three are included although one is definitely working. The others may just need batteries or a check over to get working. In addition there are leads to connect up the CD and Tuner to the Preamp. Plus speaker cables. There are five power cables so for some reason two are missing. They are easy to replace being standard fittings. Although the speakers are heavy we can wrap them in plenty of bubble wrap or you can collect them from Central London. Overall, the system has been absolutely superb. I sincerely hope they offer the same pleasure in their new home.
