These were originally designed and used as an audio end point in a highend proprietary Meridian Sooloos home music server system which was top of its class when in production. Sooloos systems still work but are no longer manufactured. This unit was the top of the line end point offering the highest audio quality in the product line. Roon ready! These days the most advanced home music servers run Roon, and this unit is on the list as one of the supported and tested audio end points. Roon can be run from a desktop computer offering you access to your personal music collection and streaming services over the network and can be controlled from your phone or tablet. The unit is in pretty good cosmetic condition showing some signs of use, it has rack ears installed and is missing both of the feet on the front which could be replaced with rubber feet.
