This Meridian MCD PRO CD player is a rare find, coming with its original box and paperwork. Modified by Boothroyd Stuart, this Philips CD-101 model is read to find a new home. Im not an audiophile, but the unit works and sounds very good. I didnt get into any of the programming features so cant attest to their functionality. Its in very good shape for its age with some small nicks here and there (See pictures) Comes with its original box and inserts as well as instructions, brochure and notes. Working condition CD player from Meridian. This is a tank / great conversation piece. Oh yeah, it sounds good too! Original owner (me) has finally decided to let it go. Just played for a few hours with no glitches. There are some superficial scratches and wear marks from normal use. See pics. Includes the damper mat required to play, original owners manual, and original purchase receipt. Babied from the time I bought it. Base unit power can be left on for quick start up, I have never let it sit in standby mode. Vintage electronics sold as-is, no returns. Two transport screws are in place and double boxed, ready to ship. See picture of player bottom, two green dots show location of transfer screws. Remove these before use.
