A step down transformer is required to use this in the UK This was working ok previously but the transformer overheated during testing. No heater voltages are applied now and probably others too. The power lamp and shorts/leakage lamp are shown working (shorts/leakage lamp will glow when switches X and Z are at the same setting except at position 12). The panel has a full set of pin straighteners and is in lovely condition. All the controls work fine and the meter (100 ohm, 5mA), reads 98 ohm. A very easy tester to set up and use, it automatically checks for shorts and if everything is ok you can perform the quality test. Comes with a comprehensive Tube Chart which includes a very good Foreign section too (see last three photos) It can check most of the popular valves including, 5U4, 6L6, 6SL7, EL34, EL84, KT66, KT88, ECC83 etc. Listing now as I have been waiting for a replacement transformer but none have been appeared for the last two years.
