Raus mit den unvollendeten Projekten - ich brauch Platz! Ein amerikanisches Laufwerk für den Studioeinsatz, gelabelt als Rek-O-Kut Medalist, Hersteller lt. Fabrikschild QRK Professional Audio. Ich hatte vor, aus dem Teil einen Edeldreher zu bauen, aber wies halt oft so ist, es fehlt die Zeit... Bevor er nochmals ein Paar Jahre im Regal sitzt, kommt er weg. Technisch sehr außergewöhnlich mit seinem elektronisch gesteuertem Reibradantrieb. Geschwindigkeit stufenlos einstellbar von 15 - 82 U/min, 2 Geschwindigkeiten über Taster programmierbar. Antriebsmotor 15 Watt japanicher Hallmotor. Erreicht sofort die angewählte Geschwindigkeit; ein Anhalten des Laufenden Plattentellers ist nahezu unmöglich! Das Reibrad wird nicht wie üblich mit Federkraft, sondern mit einem kräftigen Elektromagneten zum Teller gepresst.Insgesamt sieht alles mehr nach Maschinenbau aus als nach herkömmlicher Hifi-Technik.Man denke hier nur an das Öllager mit 16mm Durchmesser! Auch der Plattenteller selbst erinnert eher an ein Maschinenteil - siehe Bilder Geprüft, funktioniert einwandfrei und hält die programmierte Geschwindigkeit eisern.Empfehlenswert wäre eine gründliche Reinigung und Schmierung der mechanischen Teile. Das Reibrad -überdimensioniert wie alles- ist weich und macht einen neuwertigen Eindruck.
