This listing is for a VINTAGE SHARP MD MINIDISC WALKMAN RECORDER MD-SR50. It has a standard jack, so many different brands of headphones can be plugged into it. Playback and recording was tested and item works fine. This walkman uses one standard size AA battery for power. This is an used item with some scratches and marks on it. PLEASE NOTE: This walkman has been restored so it is guaranteed to work properly. Type of restoration done: small plastic gear wheel that moves the laser was glued in place so it wont come loose, this is a common problem for many sharp minidisc players: even though the player might read discs because the wheel has not cracked yet, it wont be long before it does crack and you can no longer use your player. I have had this model brand new in the box and wouldnt read discs because the wheel has cracked due to age so it was required to be glued to make the player work again, many sharp models I have seen had this problem, so dont buy sharp models unless they were restored first.

Has been in a draw for a few years. All comes on but it didnt read a mini disc I had. Spares or repairs only. Does have some scratches from use. Please see photos.
