McIntosh MB50 Streaming Audio Player Offered for sale is a McIntosh MB50 with its original box, power supply, all paperwork, remote even the original batteries. This condition is very good with no major scratches. Ill say an 8 out of 10. The unit is used by me as the original owner. The only thing that was changed is the power supply has strain-relief wrap added near the place where it plugs into the MB50. This is just a wrap of heat shrink tape to prevent damage to the cable from being bent at an angle. I do this to most all of my outboard power supplies to prevent a short if used in a cabinet where it will bend the power cord at a hard angle. This is shown in the last picture. If this bothers you, dont bid on this. Analogue and digital inputs allow the MB 50 to be a mini-preamp and or headphone amplifier as well as as a streaming source. I am cleaning out some extra AV equipment I have acquired through the years and all have been well-kept with the original boxes.

McIntosh MCT-450 Transport SACD Player This is a McIntosh CD transport. It requires an external DAC of some sort to function. It can be a stand alone DAC such as Schiit, DirectStream, McIntosh D150, Cambridge, Chord and many others. It will also work with many preamplifiers and home theater processors that have an optical or coax input. This unit does not have RCA outputs. For this unit to play SACDs it must be connected to a few select McIntosh preamplifiers or DACs that have a proprietary digital DIN input. These will also require a special cable, McIntosh part number 171923. Im selling this because I primarily listen to my old MC60s tube amps and mostly analog recordings. I would say this unit is close to perfect. The glass is like new and the chrome on the sides is flawless. The top is extremely good too. Ive looked at it in different lighting conditions and angles and nothing stands out from two feet away. This includes the MCT-450, power chord, remote and users manual. It will come shipped in the original McIntosh outer box, however, I took the box to my local pack n ship store to have more cushioning and protection added. Ive had a couple of bad experiences with McIntosh shipping cartons both on the buying and selling side. Nothing is worse than the expense of replacing a needlessly cracked glass. Lastly, I apologize for the pictures. I find it nearly impossible to photograph Mac equipment with its shiny glass and chrome. US audiomart
