Analog tuner with a digital display. The four presets are working fine, but note that the tuner should be left on or warmed up for a few hours before using. Tuner has worked perfectly in my system for seven years. Everything works great. No scratches (note that top cover has been repainted gloss black), lights all work.NOTE: Some discoloration around and under the headphone jack, presets buttons a little crooked - see pics.My camera doesnt convey how beautiful the black with green lighting is, especially in the dark.================================================================================================Tuning in a station on the MR 80 is achieved electronically.This assures long term trouble free operation.You can tune a station on the MR 80 four different ways.1. Manual tuning by rotating the main tuning knob.2. Auto Scan automatically searches for the next available station up or down in frequency.3.
