McIntosh MAC 1900 Solid State AM/FM Stereo Receiver in Fairly Good cosmetic condition. Built August 30, 1976. All controls and lights work. Some scratches and dings on the chassis and the corners of the faceplate (see pics). Not supplied with a dipole FM antenna or the original jumpers that connect pre-amp to amp for each channel. I will ship with the short RCA jumper cables I used for testing. Also, one of the black caps on the push buttons is loose and will be taped to adjacent ones for shipping. When I first started on this project, there was either no, or very little, output from the right channel. I went to work blowing off most of the dust from the various circuit boards, although the FM board could use a little more care, removed them to clean the contacts and swapped them Left to Right. I did this with both the pre-amp and amp modules and the boards checked out fine with all combinations providing output, but from the left side only. Next step was to clean the volume and balance pots along with the selector switch and then apply DeOxit. I was unable to clean the two banks of IsoStat switches that select Stereo, Mono, Tape Monitor etc. After reassembly and powering up, I had clear output from both channels. Volume and balance both tracked smoothly and selector switch was flawless. However, I found that just touching some of the IsoStat switches could cause one or the other channels to drop out. Another light touch and the channel came back. For the most part, however, this thing worked beautifully every time I turned it on over 3-4 days. Very warm sounding and capable of playing loudly. I was only able to listen to FM, AM, and a SONOS player thru the two Tape Inputs. I cant vouch for the phono inputs but I assume they are fine. The FM stage may also need a little tweaking by a qualified tech. I tried to upload a video showing how smoothly every thing was working with music playing, but Ebay nixed that for copyright issues. Its very short but effective and could probably be emailed to any one interested.

Mcintosh MAC 4100 stereo receiver. The cabinet edge trims are redone with walnut veneer. Some small lettering on the face plate and glass is flaked or rubbed off - see close ups around volume and phones jack. All ROE (Roderstein) capacitors (brown bakelite casings) are notorious for going bad - replaced. Big filter cans and all other caps through out the unit were checked with ESR meter and tested fine.All switches and push buttons were treated with Deoxit and Faderlube. McIntosh MAC 1700 receiver. It is the earlier version of 1700, has BIAS adjustment pots (verified and set to service manual spec). All small electrolytic caps replaced. Big filter caps as well as multi-section caps show perfect values on ESR meter. (Replaced one 500uf section that was open).Also replaced 6EA8 tube in FM MPX section, responsible for Stereo indicator light to work correctly. All original output transistors are in place. Replaced all (4) light bulbs for glass illumination, as well as FM and stereo lamps (not all shown in replaced part pic). Cleaned and polished thoroughly - face plate and knobs. Close to mint. McIntosh MHT 200 Receiver Pre / Pro in Excellent condition. Comes with original remote, McIntosh inner and outer boxes. No owners manual but can be printed on line. Remote is a little bit sticky but fully functional. Classic McIntosh sound. Sound quality is stellar, pre out section is fantastic. Reliable, super clean unit and performs flawlessly.
