If you have been looking for a reference level preamp/processor (SSP) for your Home Theatre AND something to deliver incredible two-channel performance in a multi purpose room, then the MX-170 is probably unsurpassed with the exception of the current MX-180. With a new MX-180 selling for almost $19,000.00 (including sales tax) and often a 60-90 day wait time to get one, this example of the MX-170 just might be a bargain... and if theres any concern over its longevity, we are putting a one year parts & labor warranty on it and an extended warranty for up to 5 years can be purchased separately.
