**McIntosh MX-132 A/V Surround Sound Preamplifier Processor PARTS or REPAIR** -Unit powers on and all controls and function buttons respond properly except for the volume control. When I initially powered it on it responded when turned. It then went to Volume 99 and stayed there. Now, on subsequent power ups it no longer responds. Also, it is a bit intermittent powering up. The standby button lights RED on each power up but the unit does not always power up the rest of the way when the standby button is depressed. When it does respond... everything functions except for the volume control issue mentioned above.-Outputs have not been tested but its likely everything is functional.-The unit is in exceptional cosmetic condition.-Being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. Up for sale I have my (very) gently used MX123A. It lived its life very securely in my A/V rack with little to no disturbance in a smoke-free home. Most importantly, this is the upgraded 8K model that has HDMI 2.1 on the board for 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz, especially great for gaming. Im only selling as I upgraded to the bigger brother model. The unit is in great condition and the glass is flawless, anything you see in the pictures are just reflections. Sounds really nice in 2 channel mode as well. Comes with original manual, remote, power cord, and original double boxes. Somehow Ive lost the battery cover on the remote so be aware of that.
