It has been maticulously restored electronically (audio and power supply caps), as well as all modifications installed including LDR and MPX. Tunes in stations flawlessly. This MX113 is in a pristine original wood case with pan loks, chrome chassis is beautiful. I have the original box for the unit. I have accumulated hundreds of pieces of audio equipment over the 40 years I serviced and restored. Some are being sold as is and other are being restored by me. Because I no longer align equipment this was sent to the authorized Service Center in MInneapolis. The gentleman who does the work has 40 years experience as an authorized MC tech. His work is superb. This is a very nice McIntosh MX 113 tuner/preamp. It has both AM and FM bands. Face is very good and the chassis and trim is very good. The unit was rebuilt to meet MC specs and then tuner was aligned by a certified MC Tech in Minneapolis, MN. Everything works perfectly as a MC should. The cost of the rebuild was $495.12. All old parts and the service invoice and copy of the factory owners manual are included and it will be double boxed. The first box is a Factory McIntosh 113 box with factory packing. Knobs will be removed to further protect the glass. Shipping is $99.95- This is via FED EX Home. I will not ship this via UPS or USPS. If it ships for less than that I will refund the excess after packing costs. I do not make money on packing and shipping but I try to break even. Restored by AUDIO classics , this month of December 2023 for $620.00. I bought Mac shipping box 75.00, new front glass 225$. It has very nice cabinet with slant legs. My cost is 1550! with audio classics warranty. Listed on FB marketplace for less$$ Shipping is $150$ FOR TWO BOXES AS MX113 CABINET DOESNT FIT MAC DOUBLE BOX SYSTEM which protects mx113! The cabinet will have to be shipped in a separate box hence this shipping cost!
