Original McIntosh MX112 / Service Information Manual -- #1.

Hello I have for sale a MX112 . I bought this 15 years ago for parts. It was missing the top plate that covers the tuner dial cord and the tin plate around the push buttons. The tuner stills tunes but it has no indicator pointer. Its tucked inside and present. After hearing the preamp and Phono section I did not have the Heart to take parts from it. I used it as is and it sounded fantastic with Records and CD. Excellent AM reception. The FM works fine but it never goes into true stereo. I never fixed it. It was feeding Phillips Motional Feedback Powered speakers with amazing results. I bought the service manual and the 75 dollar tin plate for the push buttons. So it is an as is unit. It has some bubbles in the face plate missing the dial cord metal cover and the FM needs service to be perfect. Alignment ? So it tunes with excellent AM and mono FM with no Dial indicator as the cord is broken. All the dial cord parts are tucked inside out of the way .I did not have a signal generator as needed to fuss with FM Stereo issue. I loved it as is. Please look at the pictures and ask questions. Sold as is. Shipping is free in the 48 States with tracking well packed. This would give you a bargain Hi Fi Pre-Amp with hook ups for 2 Turntables. The Phono Section is fantastic on this player.
