McIntosh MCD205 5 Disk CD Player for Restoration or Parts. Sold as is. READ CARFULLY!! I purchased these a while ago and it arrived damaged. Broken display glass and its not illuminating. When you turn the power switch on you can hear the disc tray calibrate. The function buttons are not doing anything this time. It seems it was dropped/damaged prior to packing and then shipped to me. I was reimbursed and seller let me keep the unit. I was going to order the glass display from McIntosh and do the install (I have done some in the past) and then take it to service center. Ther nearest service center to me is almost 2 hours away in Miami and traffic is horrendous these days. If you work on McIntosh equipment, then great, you will bring it back to operating beauty. If you are an audiophile and are seeking an MCD205 then you can bring it a service center and have it repaired. I will be certain its well packed and cushioned to avoid any further damage.

For sale is a McIntosh MCD205 CD player in great working condition. All disc positions tested using test discs. Includes original remote, which still has the protective plastic over the buttons. Also includes power cord and a copy of the owners manual. Two very minor nicks on the side metal pieces (See photos). Otherwise in excellent condition. Player has had new glass installed, and includes a new factory shipping carton from McIntosh Labs in Binghamton, NY. The MCD205 will be shipped in the factory carton. Serious bidders only please.
