This MC-30 has some cosmetic flaws as seen in photos, not so many considering the lifespan of McIntosh products, but operates perfectly, sounds great, and has been enjoyed constantly. With great regret, moving means being forced to downsize and shift reluctantly to some simple device. This amplifier has a good history. The traveling McIntosh representative changed tubes and components every two years until that generous gift by the company ended. It has gone to Audio Classics, McIntosh authorized repair representative in Vestal, New York, every five years to bring it up to specifications. The repair sheets for 2009 and 2015 are attached. This past January, it was brought up to spec and checked/replaced tubes by Vinyl Audio Science in Cliffwood, New Jersey. Includes booklet with schematic diagram. Shipped in excellent Audio Classics box received after their last servicing. Please note: we have also listed McIntosh 30-watt amplifier, a MacKit-30, in a separate posting.
