**McIntosh MX-132 A/V Surround Sound Preamplifier Processor PARTS or REPAIR** -Unit powers on and all controls and function buttons respond properly except for the volume control. When I initially powered it on it responded when turned. It then went to Volume 99 and stayed there. Now, on subsequent power ups it no longer responds. Also, it is a bit intermittent powering up. The standby button lights RED on each power up but the unit does not always power up the rest of the way when the standby button is depressed. When it does respond... everything functions except for the volume control issue mentioned above.-Outputs have not been tested but its likely everything is functional.-The unit is in exceptional cosmetic condition.-Being sold AS-IS for parts or repair. It stopped working and the official McIntosh repair guy here in San Diego said he couldn’t get a replacement switch, and in any case the switch isn’t needed. The broken one is the master on/off switch and right next to it is a red on/off switch which the manual says also resets the processors in addition to turning the unit on/off.
