This preamp processor uses 65W power and supports various surround sound formats such as DTS, Dolby Pro Logic, and Dolby Digital. It has 14 outputs, including Digital Coaxial RCA, RCA, Stereo L/R RCA, Digital Optical TOSLINK, and S-Video. This black McIntosh MX132 model, manufactured in the United States between 1990-1999, features analog and digital inputs and outputs, with 17 inputs in total. The unit has been tested and it works. The faceplate illumination works but the bulbs were removed. A good bulb has been used to test and it functions correctly. The display PCB needs to be repaired or replaced. The unit sounds awesome, and the included remote can operate the main functions. All expensive knobs are present. Will ship in an Audio Classics McIntosh shipping box. The face plate is cracked by the power switch. This is barely noticeable unless looking closely. A few scratches on the case. I used this for a few months and it works well. Sold As-Is, FOR PARTS. Plays on both channels. Only tested via aux input, all other inputs untested. Potentiometer and switches partially scratchy. Comes with (service)manual. Due to its age and unknown state of revision: Explicitely sold as defect, no returns!
