Looks and sounds better then when it was brand new!J-Corder started with the excellent Technics 1520 and performed the following service steps. 1. Completely disassemble the machine2. Replace brakes and springs3. Replace bearings if needed4. Hard-wire heavy-duty power cord5. Laser align all heads and check specifications6. Clean and lube all switches, pots and controls7. Posts treated with Deoxit rejuvenation protection for better electrical connections8. Reassemble and re-calibrate the machine with ATR tapeThey then applied the Midnight McIntosh Finish package with color matched VU meters, Mac green lettering and head-block overlay. They upgraded the back panel and power cord. Tape path and bearings were upgraded. The legs were upgraded to polished chrome. The back panel, head-block and heads were upgraded to include a performance package with balanced XLR and direct outputs. Side panels were upgraded to deep gloss black.
