WE ARE NO LONGER A Mcintosh DEALER so we are selling DEMO inventory McIntosh MB50 Streaming Audio Player, this is a USED unit and sold AS IS.The model is in working order. We no longer have the Mcintosh Packing for the Unit but it will be shipped insured, and packed professionally The MB50 is a half-sized device, designed to sit beneath McIntosh’s MHA150 headphone amp or MXA70 integrated audio system launched a few years ago. That brings its own DAC and line inputs, along with a 50 watts per channel amplifier, and even a pair of small standmount loudspeakers. Having a DAC on the MB50 and another on the MXA70, and a headphone output on both devices means there is some redundancy involved, but a few redundant systems are par for the course with McIntosh, and that is part of the reason why McIntosh fares so well on the ‘buy again’ stakes. It also suggests that even those who began their McIntosh ownership with the MXA70 have already learned the company’s core maxim: the only thing better than a McIntosh is another McIntosh.

Up for sale is a McIntosh MVP 841 CD/DVD player with an embedded DAC. This player has been very well-maintained and is in excellent working order. It comes with a variety of audio outputs, including digital coaxial RCA, stereo L/R RCA, digital optical TOSLINK, S-video, and XLR. With its receiver combo features and two channels, this player is perfect for enhancing your home audio setup. The number of outputs is three and the model number is Mcintosh MVP 841. Also included: power cable, McIntosh remote (tested), owner’s manual, A/V cables, Interflex Serial Digital by Liberty component video cables (approx. 15 ft.) I purchased this unit from the original owner in Atherton, California who had it in their home theater. I never used it. I haven’t hooked it up to a TV recently but the display and remote work as expected when a DVD is inserted. Due to the items age it is sold as-is.
