The MAC 4200 is the lowest production McIntosh receiver, as only 1,189 of these units were built, from 1985 to 1987, making the 4200 very rare and collectible. At that time McIntosh incorporated their new MR-7082 Tuner circuit with their first digital station frequency display - the new C-30 Preamp section and the new MC-752 Power Amplifier section. It will also accommodate two phono cartridge inputs (MM) This Mac4200 was serviced cleaned and tested. Controls operate quietly, everything works and it sounds great. The three internal rechargeable AA batteries alung with the battery holder has been replaced with new ones. (for memory of channel Presets) People tend to hang-on to their Mac 4200s and thats why its rare to see them up for sale very often. Includes the Original Users Manual and literature.
