I purchased the C49 NEW in 2021 from Listenup, in Boulder Colorado. The C49 is a current model being offered by McIntosh. All of my music is digital and a majority is High-Definition Digital (greater than CD quality 44.1kHz/16 bit) so my description emphasizes the C49 digital operation. I use J-river software as my computer interface and music organizing tool. The computers USB port connects to the C49 preamplifier USB port located on the McIntosh DA1 DIGITAL AUDIO MODULE (photograph 9 above).
