Early very desirable slant leg wood case for large amps. Includes the panlocs set, ready to mount. Fits mc2105, I believe it also fits mc2205, mc2255, and mc2002. It’s an L14, similar to the L54 which has plastic feet. It needs to be restored, I tried to picture all the problem areas. It has never been restored or sanded before, part of the original “Walnut” sticker is still on the side. Metal screen is good, needs to be painted. MC 2205

McIntosh MC2105 Power Amplifier This amp is in excellent condition and works flawlessly. It was recently serviced and has all the lights replaced to give it a fresh look. It comes with a printed copy of the user manual the wood cabinet bearing a few blemishes as shown in the pictures. The amp is in excellent condition though it is not blemish free as there are a couple minor spots of bubbling behind the glass and the left aluminum trim piece has some minor scratches to the top as can be seen in the pictures. Very nice Mac with 125 WPC of warm Mac sound. Very heavy so I hope not to ship. In Wilmington-Philly area. Newer face. No issues, except that the meters arent quite as active as when new. For sale is the McIntosh power amplifier MC2125. The overall condition is clean, with no noticeable scratches or deformities. Being an older unit, there may be dust in areas that are hard to clean, but there are no prominent scratches or dirt, presenting a clean appearance. The front panel glass is in good condition, and all backlights are functioning. There is a small bubble approximately 0.20 inches next to the headphone jack on the backside of the glass, but otherwise, there are no significant issues. The top of the amplifier and the heat sink show no noticeable scratches or discoloration. The rear side is also free of significant scratches, and the terminals are in good condition. While there may be minor scratches upon close inspection due to its age, it is considered to be in excellent condition overall. This MC2125 is a transistor amplifier that uses McIntoshs unique auto-transformer for output. Unlike most transistor amplifiers that connect speakers directly to the output stage, McIntosh uses an output transformer between the output stage and the speakers, enhancing stability and robustness. The amplifier is considerably large and heavy due to the inclusion of a large output transformer, which allows for impedance matching with a wide range of speakers while delivering a continuous rated output of 120W. The output relay has been replaced by our company due to contact issues. According to the previous owner, all signal circuit capacitors were replaced in 2005 by a repair company (documentation available), and no issues were found during the operational check, indicating that no further maintenance is needed at this time. The front backlights were checked, and one meter backlight was found to be out, so all six were replaced as a precaution (the old bulbs that were still functioning are included as spares).
