This is a working McIntosh preamplifier C34V. It was purchased new and used for about 5 years, then stored in a warehouse. It is a product from the Showa era. There is rust and dirt on the metal parts. There are no severe stains or dents. The R and L sides produce sound. The product was purchased new, and 8 years later all electrolytic capacitors were replaced, 2 diodes, and 2 power transistors were replaced. It is currently working without any problems. The unit is in great shape. Everything works and sounds amazing. It was serviced a few years back by a certified McIntosh center to balance the outputs and it was set to a factory state. The only thing to note is the LCD display has a slight fog on the insight glass. Its somewhat visible when the unit is off as it can be seen from the pictures provided. This is common on these units. The glass cannot be cleaned because the LCD display cannot be open. When the unit and the display are on, the LCD display is perfectly readable as shown in the pictures.The unit comes with original power cable, remote, and manual.The unit will be shipped in an original Mcintosh box made for a different model. I bought a C2600 (same size as the MX134) and will ship the MX134 in that box. See pictures of the MX134 already boxed.
