This amp was worked on several years ago at Audio Classics. All functions tested and work but meter boards and maybe film needs to be replaced. Selling at a discounted price because of cosmetic issues, but amp sounds great and the meters do work. Comes with factory double box and power cord. Sorry no owners manual, also I forgot there are some minor bubbles on the glass, but you can buy a new glass front if you like.

Up for sale is a FACTORY AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER REFURBISHED McIntosh MC 7205 five channel power amplifier. This unit was purchased from the original owner with three channels not working from a power surge. It was taken to Fort Worth Audio which is a McIntosh certified repair center. Fort Worth Audio has recently merged with Gunter TV and Appliance and is now called Gunther Audio and Video. The unit was completely gone through. Two of the PCBs had do be replaced along with one of the IC chips. All of the lamps were replaced and the glass and blue filters cleaned. The unit was extensively tested and checked to be in perfect operating condition. The cost of repairs exceeded $1000 and a copy of the repair receipt will be include with the sale of the amp. Cosmetically this amplifier is in excellent condition. The amp is free of scratches and marks of any kind. Please look carefully at all of the pictures and judge the condition for yourself. The only flaw I can find is some slight discoloration of the center meter. Look carefully at the pictures to judge the severity of this issue. I personally would never notice it if I werent looking for it. I dont have to tell you about the build or sound quality of this amp. It is considered a classic five channel amplifier.
