Selling my brand new McIntosh MI128 8 Channel Digital Amplifier. This amp was purchased 2 months ago for $4,000 from my local dealer and ended up going a different direction. The box is still factory sealed! I will included a copy of my receipt dated 9-3-2023 for the warranty, which is 3 years. This amp is intended for multi room audio distribution but obviously can be used for whatever you want. The amp puts out 120 watts per channel at 8ohm all channels driven and 150 watts per channel at 4ohm.

Vintage McIntosh C28 Stereo Preamplifier for Parts/Repair as pictured. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tested by this AV-specialist and here are my findings: All switches and potentiometers could use some cleaning and lubrication. All function and only a few have some static while turning/switching.All high level inputs work great. The Tape 1 illumination does not light.All low level inputs output an intermittent low rumble staticky sound on the right channel(guessing capacitor issue).Several of the low level inputs had one or both channels not work at all until the unit was warmed up.The Tape copy buttons work for sending one tape input signal to the opposite channel but the tape inputs did not send signal to their own output. This may be normal.Headphone output works but does not cut sound to the regular analog outputs. This may be normal.Tape input and output 1/4 inputs on the front are untested.Speaker control relay section untested.Bass, treble, input selection and mode selection, balance and comp all working.Center channel output is quieter than the stereo outputs. This may be normal too. Cosmetically there is a bit of hash on the top of the chassis(rust?), the rca connectors are slightly pitted(normal for these units), the knobs are missing, the face is cracked and a few screws are missing. As it stands, the unit sounds great through the high level inputs and various stereo outputs: clean and warm... typical McIntosh sound. I test AV equipment for a living but it is possible I missed something. Due to the age and condition the unit is being sold as-is for parts or repair. I will do my best packaging (I package fragile electronics regularly) the unit but due to the condition of the face, it is possible it could arrive less intact than it currently is. Beautiful McIntosh C28 for its vintage age. I Purchased mid 2020 from owner who had some Capacitors replaced, and some other minor stuff done in May 2019. Sticker on bottom and Receipt of work done by HiFi Heaven. Since then, its mostly been in a box due to moving several times. I recently hooked it up to my Classe CA 5200 Amp a phono, and DVD/CD player. Still Sounded great, no popping/hissing, cracking, etc. I believe all lights are working but not very bright. front glass is fine, NO bubbling and I believe prev. owner replaced. Some minor scratch not much, one very small corner of one label broke off and labels are slightly lightened in color (see pics). All Back connectors, lettering, plugs etc. undamaged but could be cleaned up as well as unit. The power cord has some white paint on it in spots. I do my best to describe and inform buyers of the condition of my items with particular attention to electronics. I take pictures in outdoor light and indoor light. Buyers should understand the scope of my testing. Take a look at pictures and please ask any questions prior to bidding/buying as sale is final and there are no returns unless unit not properly meet description or function as described. I will also include the receipt of work performed by HiFi Heaven.
