The tweeters and midranges are Bohlender-Graebenerplanar magnetic diaphragms usually found on more expensive high-end speakers,and used for a brief time by Martin Logan before they moved to the foldedmotion technology, found today in their Motion series. Highs are dipole, airyand very detailed; robust 8 aluminumcone woofer and bass port in solid cabinet design (black wood grain finish), sothese puppies are built to last; frequency response is 46 hz to 20,000 hz, sothey need a sub for home theater. These really are a step up from box andbookshelf speakers. I used them as mains and then rears for double stereo andsurround sound.
