Listed for sale is this vintage, classic audiophile power amplifier. From its Wikipedia entry: The Mark Levinson ML-3 is a 200 watt per channel dual monaural[1] Class AB2 power amplifier that uses two Avel Lindberg toroidal transformers in its powersupply and four huge Sprague Series 36DX, 36.000uF, 100 Volt capacitors. Produced between 1979 and 1987, the ML-3 consisted of two electrically separate amplifiers in one chassis, hence the name Dual Monaural. It also features discrete circuit construction; no integrated circuits were incorporated to keep the signal pure. The design was by the late Thomas P. Colangelo. The ML-3 constituted the archetype of an American highend, highpower amplifier. They are in excellent cosmetic and working condition. I inherited them from my uncle, the original owner who kept them in service throughout their life. There were powering a pair of Apogee Full Range. That said, service history is unknown. Unlike many other Levinson amps, these are relatively easy to service. I have Levinson CAMAC interconnects which are required for these amplifiers. I can include them for a reasonable additional fee. I also have a Mark Levinson LNC-2 active crossover which pairs wonderfully with these amplifiers (check my other listings). They must ship freight because they weigh 180lbs each, thats why the high flat shipping cost. If you want to contact me prior to buying and discuss shipping, feel free. I can possibly deliver them for a fee if you are within a few hundred miles of Charlotte. I have received several questions about shipping with uShip.
