Mfg. 1990-94 The is the rarer and very desirable late production example that has all gold RCA inputs and outputs instead of the expensive Camacs. Yea! The one you have been looking for. This version hardly ever turns up. It alsi has 2 Stereo True sets of Balanced Audio Inputs and One set of True Balanced Stereo Output also. This was purchased from the original owner. No Phono Section onboard this example. If you need a phono input you can easially add a outboard one of your choice to the designated AUX/PHONO input. Cosmetics are real nice other than a few minor marks. It sounds excellent with no hum or noisy controls. All controls feel smooth as silk. There is a servicesticker inside the preamp from ANALOGIQUE SERVICE LABS from 2/23/2010 One of NYCs oldest and finast repair shops & still in business. Mark Levinson No.28 Preamp And Matching PLS-228 Power Supply. Excellent preamp including power supply. 2 sets of CAMAC/RCA connections. However I use XLR cables for pre to power, Pre to DAC. XLR CD transport to DAC and SPDIF to DAC. Then RCA / CAMAC to Phono stage from Turntable. This covers all bases for me. It's an incredible amp a few years old now but competes with some of the best at it's level and above . Have a look on line for reviews/ specs etc. I have had to spend multiple thousands of pounds to come anywhere near replacing this amp. Downside no remote available. Thanks for looking.
