These Would be ideal for a custom speaker build in a horn loaded system like for example the excellent Frugal horn design in which they work extremely well! I have used several pairs of these in the past in different configurations and they certainly give a gorgeous smooth richly textured engaging sound! This pair was purchased a few years ago as a spare set and never needed so here they are up for sale! These drivers require a careful run in period of at least 100 yours before playing at normal to loud levels to ensure they sound and perform at their best otherwise they can be damaged if played loud to quickly! To test them and make sure they are fine I have run them with gentle quiet music for about 50 hours and they are sounding really good with no issues.
