Marantz SR8000 AV Surround Receiver. Powers on but I did not get any sound output. No further testing was done. Selling as is for parts or repair.

Receiver is in very nice cosmetic condition and includes the high quality original remote control, see photos. In 2000 this unit sold for $1199.95. Features gold plated, input terminals, and three fiber, optic inputs and three coaxial inputs along with one fiber-optic output and one coaxial output. This unit predates HDMI technology so for home theater I just run my HDMI outputs from devices directly to the TV monitor and use the digital inputs on the receiver for sound. I am currently using it in stereo mode for music listening and it has a very warm, sweet sound as many people have attested to in various reviews on the Internet. All functions are working correctly.
