This is a beautiful Marantz SR7015 unit...works perfectly... now, the story: I purchased this a few weeks ago on eBay. It WAS in brand new condition...although it was not shipped in the original box. The seller had clearly not shipped anything this large and/or heavy, as it was, without a doubt, the worst packing ive seen in over 30 years of eBay purchases. Any issues with the unit are purely physical; ive been using it for a few weeks in my setup and it works perfectly. The pictures show the damage (purely cosmetic). I opened it up and fixed any issues with the top panel so it would sit flush and not impede operation of the flip down front door. The door on the front functions perfectly, and aside from the crack in the lower right front, it would be impossible to see any issues with it once you install it in a home entertainment center. The bottom of the chassis is slightly bowed (although it sits flush; it is right around the area of the massive power transformer). The furthest right binding post appears a little wiggly, although it also works fine. This unit will be shipped and packed properly (its a behemoth...weighs over 30 lbs) SO: if youve always wanted one of these...here is your chance to get one cheap! Selling my Marantz SR7015. This is a beast for home surround sound, with plenty of power to drive all your speakers. I used this Marantz to drive my 7.1 system and never had the need to go over 45% and thats pretty loud.
