This receiver looks like it has not been used. But It has been out of the box so I will call it used. I hooked up a couple of old speakers and tested several functions. As testing this I found in the Manual that the remote control is a UNIVERSAL REMOTE the factory sent with this unit. I had trouble with this remote getting it to operate this receiver. So then I had to read the 50 page Manual on operating the remote. It did help and I was able to get many functions to operate. But still had some trouble. Im just not very good with operating this type of equipment.. This is a > HIGHLY SOPHISTICATED MUTI FUNTION COMPUTERIZED RECEIVER. < It is not a simple PLUG N PLAY system.
