Description
This home theater receiver works great. I use it to play Dolby Atmos and DTS-X when I watch movies or play games. It has 4k Ultra HD passthrough on the HDMI so everything can run through your receiver. I currently have 7.4.2 speaker setup hooked up. That means the normal 7 speakers for surround (2 front mains, a front center, 2 sides and 2 back) and then I have 4 overhead atmos speakers in my ceiling (2 front, 2 back) and then 2 sub woofers. 13 speakers total hooked up to it now.All the Marantz 7000 series receivers can only power 9 speakers at a time, so you will need an external amp if you are going to do all 4 atmos speakers in the ceiling. It does 9 channels at 125w each. If you are just powering up 9 speakers, this will work fine by itself. The only issue with this receiver is when I received it originally, it was missing the clear plastic knob to tie down the wire on the Front Wide/Height 2 speaker connector which is shown in the last picture. I knew before buying it I wouldnt have a speaker hooked up to that anyway since I needed an external amp for my overhead speakers. You use the RCA pre-out to hook up your Front Wide/Height 2 to an external amp, so this is not needed even if you wanted full Atmos sound. If you have questions, I can explain it better. This receiver has worked great since the day I bought it with no troubles at all. This receiver was about $2800 when new.It comes with the manual, the audyssey mic that will automatically set your speaker settings during setup, the remote, and the original box it came in.Its been sitting in the same location since I bought it in my home theater room. No scratches of any kind, just used for watching movies and TV on my projector.SpecificationsAudio sectionPower amplifierRated output:Front:125 W + 125 W (8 ?/ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz with 0.05 % T.H.D.)165 W + 165 W (6 ?/ohms, 1 kHz with 0.7 % T.H.D.)Center:125 W (8 ?/ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz with 0.05 % T.H.D.)165 W (6 ?/ohms, 1 kHz with 0.7 % T.H.D.)Surround:125 W + 125 W (8 ?/ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz with 0.05 % T.H.D.)165 W + 165 W (6 ?/ohms, 1 kHz with 0.7 % T.H.D.)Surround back / Height1 / Front wide/Height2:125 W + 125 W (8 ?/ohms, 20 Hz – 20 kHz with 0.05 % T.H.D.)165 W + 165 W (6 ?/ohms, 1 kHz with 0.7 % T.H.D.)Output connectors:4 – 16 ?/ohmsAnalogInput sensitivity/Input impedance:200 mV/47 k?/kohmsFrequency response:10 Hz – 100 kHz — +1, –3 dB (Direct mode)S/N:100 dB (IHF–A weighted, Direct mode)Distortion:0.005 % (20 Hz – 20 kHz) (Direct mode)Rated output:1.2 VDigitalD/A output:Rated output — 2 V (at 0 dB playback)Total harmonic distortion — 0.008 % (1 kHz, at 0 dB)S/N ratio — 102 dBDynamic range — 100 dBDigital input:Format — Digital audio interfacePhono equalizerInput sensitivity:2.5 mVRIAA deviation:±1 dB (20 Hz to 20 kHz)S/N:74 dB (IHF-A)Distortion factor:0.03 % (1 kHz, 3 V)Video sectionStandard video connectorsInput/output level and impedance:1 Vp-p, 75 ?/ohmsFrequency response:5 Hz – 10 MHz — 0, –3 dBColor component video connectorInput/output level and impedance:Y signal — 1 Vp-p, 75 ?/ohmsPB / CB signal — 0.7 Vp-p, 75 ?/ohmsPR / CR signal — 0.7 Vp-p, 75 ?/ohmsFrequency response:5 Hz – 60 MHz — 0, –3 dBTuner section[FM][AM] (Note: ?V at 75 ?/ohms, 0 dBf = 1 x 10 –15 W)Reception frequency range:87.5 MHz – 107.9 MHz530 kHz – 1710 kHzEffective sensitivity:1.5 ?V (14.8 dBf)20 ?VS/N ratio (IHF-A):Mono: 78 dBStereo: 68 dBHD: 85 dB85 dBDistortion (1 kHz):MONO ? 0.1 %STEREO ? 0.2 %HD: 0.02 %0.02 %Wireless LAN sectionNetwork type (wireless LAN standard):Conforming to IEEE 802.11bConforming to IEEE 802.11gConforming to IEEE 802.11n(Wi-Fi® compliant)?1Security:WEP 64 bit, WEP 128 bitWPA/WPA2-PSK (AES)WPA/WPA2-PSK (TKIP)Radio frequency:2.4 GHzNo. of channels:1 – 11 chThe Wi-Fi® CERTIFIED Logo and the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED On-Product Logo are registered trademarks of the Wi-Fi Alliance.Bluetooth sectionCommunications system:Bluetooth Version 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)Transmission power:Maximum 2.5 mW (Class 2)Maximum communication range:Approx. 32.8 ft/10 m in line of sight?2Frequency band:2.4 GHz bandModulation scheme:FHSS (Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum)Supported profiles:A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) 1.2AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control Profile) 1.4Corresponding codec:SBC, AACTransmission range (A2DP):20 Hz - 20,000 HzThe actual communication range varies depending on the influence of such factors as obstructions between devices, electromagnetic waves from microwave ovens, static electricity, cordless phones, reception sensitivity, antenna performance, operating system, application software etc.GeneralPower supply:AC 120 V, 60 HzPower consumption:710 WPower consumption in standby mode:0.2 WPower consumption in CEC standby mode:0.5 WPower consumption in network standby mode:2.7Whttps://manuals.marantz.com/sr7010/na/en/GFNFSYbsjxinov.php - Go to this website if you want to look up more of the information.
