marantz This Marantz SR2000 stereo receiver is a vintage model from the 1980s. A few years prior to the Phillips era of the Marantz brand, The Marantz Company(owned by Superscope, a film company) attempts to continue its rich history of the popular brand. With its AM/FM band capabilities, it allows you to tune in radio stations with ease. This receiver also features 5 audio inputs, including AUX, and 2 sets of speaker outputs. The SR models may not have had the build quality of the earlier Marantz line of the 70’s but it keeps the classic look going with the ‘gyro’ tuning dial and still has decent performance; perfect for any home/dorm audio setup. It’s 30 watts rated into 8 ohms speakers. Experience the nostalgia of ‘80’s hi-fi at a more affordable price. The receiver was serviced, cleaned inside and out, tested and is in full working condition. The wooden bonnet has minor ware and some touch-up repair but is solid and great shape for its age. This receiver is very clean. Please review all photos for your own judgement of condition.
