For sale is a very nice Marantz SD6000 in great working order. They were made in Japan between 1979-81. This has been my daily driver for a while and it sounds amazing! The belts and photo sensor (opto coupler) were replaced relatively recently, as well as treating all of the knobs and switches with deoxit and faderlube and a thorough cleaning throughout. The idler tires are original and are all working fine, however when I bought it the take up reel tire was slipping a little bit. I scuffed it up and it is now working just fine. All other functions work as they should with no problems whatsoever and all lights are operational. The only bad thing about this deck is purely cosmetic. The original owner scribed their service number onto the top of the tape assembly (See photos). This was pretty common back in the day with people in the service. I honestly don't even notice it anymore. If you're patient, a tape assembly will eventually turn up for sale and you could replace it and have a fully functional unit with no blemishes at that point. I believe the SD6020 and SD9000 have the same tape assemblies, and possibly a few more which widens the search. This really is a fantastic deck and is a looker for sure! All of the hard work has already been done and it's ready to be enjoyed!! Due to this being a vintage item it is being sold as is / no returns. Ein Funktionstest hat gezeigt, dass das Abspielen und Spulen funktioniert. Das spulen vorwrts geht sehr gut und schnell, rckwrts langsamer und hackelig. Das Zhlwerk und die gesamte Beleuchtung inklusive Pegelanzeige funktionieren ebenfalls. Das umschalten der Bandgeschwindigkeit funktioniert ohne Probleme. Leider geht die Aufnahmefunktion nicht, da die Spule nicht anzieht. Wenn ich die Spule von Hand bettigte, wird auch aufgezeichnet. Das Gert wird sicher verpackt und mit Sendungsverfolgung versendet. This is a nice, clean unit, that powers up and all lights, knobs, and switches appear to function well, however the tape player does not spin in play, fast forward, or reverse.
