This is a Marantz SC 80 Stereo Control Amplifier or Preamplifier that I acquired from a local estate and I really am not very familiar with this series of Marantz line. Audiophile classic Marantz SC-80 stereo preamplifier with a beautiful champagne finish. The Marantz SC-80 features a MM/MC phono stage, 6 high level inputs, and (2) pre amp outputs. It powers up and seems to work as it should however I have no time or experience with extended listening so Im selling it as is. I believe this was produced to go with a 100 watt power amp and also came with a remote (which is missing) as did lots of the high end 1990s separates. Its a very heavy and well built piece of Marantz, not to mention the very attractive champagne finish. Enjoy it with your favorite power amp! It will be well packed, thanks.

Hochwertiger High-End Pre-Amplifier / Vorverstärker aus ESOTEC Serie MARANTZ SC-8 Biete eine seltene und sehr hochwertige Vorstufe aus einer Sammlung Auflösung an!! Das Gerät stand längere Zeit ungenutzt unter einem Tuch im Wohnzimmer auf einem Schrank!! Optisch ist die Vorstufe wirklich in sehr sauberen und sehr gepflegten Zustand, es sind kaum Nutzungsspuren vorhanden.... Dafür bitte die zahlreichen Bilder anschauen!! Technisch wurde die Vorstufe überprüft, es funktioniert alles absolut perfekt, alle Eingänge/Ausgänge, so wie auch Phono MM/MC, alle Regler und Schalter lassen sich sehr gut bedienen, der Klang ist einwandfrei!! Eine Kleinigkeit gibt es aber zu bemängeln, und zwar wenn man die Vorstufe einschaltet und noch im Kaltzustand auf niedriger Lautstärker, ist ein kratzendes Geräusch wahrzunehmen, wenn man aber lauter macht ist dieses weg und sobald die Vorstufe etwas warm gelaufen ist, ist es auch bei niedriger Lautstärker nichts mehr zu hören.... Was genau mit dem Gerät ist wurde nicht überprüft, es wurden keine Reparatur Versuche unternommen!! Für kennen ist es bestimmt eine Kleinigkeit, aber es ist auch so kaum störbar, den nach dem einschalten verschwindet es nach ein paar Minuten!! Wollte ich aber trotzdem mal erwähnen!! The device was unused for a long time under a cloth in the living room on a cupboard! Visually, the preamp is really in a very clean and well-kept condition, there are hardly any signs of use.... Please look at the numerous pictures!! Technically, the preamp was checked, everything works absolutely perfectly, all controls and switches can be operated very well, the sound is perfect! But there is something small to complain about, namely when you switch on the preamp and still cold at low volume, a scratching sound can be heard, but if you turn it up louder, this is gone and as soon as the preamp has warmed up a bit, Cant hear anything even at low volume... What exactly is wrong with the device has not been checked, no repair attempts have been made! Its definitely a little thing to know, but its hardly disturbing, after turning it on it disappears after a few minutes!! But I wanted to mention it anyway!
