Highly regarded, and rarely available, this is the made in Japan, Phillips integrated digital amplifier, the model DFA980. This is the same amp as the Marantz branded PM-75. Build quality is readily identifiable, in this heavy beast. 100 W per channel into eight ohms, at very low distortion. Large complement of analog inputs, including an excellent phono stage, which supports both MM and MC. Analog side fully working, and sounds great! On the Digital side, either I am doing something wrong, or there is an issue. I can’t seem to get any output from the coax inputs, and I can’t insert the optical cable properly (looks like something is in the way?). So, this fabulous amp is being sold as is, parts or repair, no returns please. Will be carefully and completely packaged, to arrive to you safe and sound. Marantz PMD500U Dual Professional Cassette Deck *Powers on* - AS-IS/Parts Repair - NO RETURNS - During the testing the unit powered on without issue, and all the illumination came on. However, the unit made a loud humming sound. When we tried to test Deck A we found that it would not Eject to accept a cassette. AS we tested Deck B it played a cassette fine, as well as Fast Forward and Rewind. But when we tried to play the cassette in Reverse it made the humming noise gain. For these reasons we are selling this unit in the AS-IS/Parts Repair condition. As this item is being sold AS-IS, this item should be considered to have defects, and we have done our best to disclose them. In the case of an item that doesnt function as intended, there is a chance that other flaws, that we are not aware of, may be present. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. Used, but still in good condition. TESTED, and in some working order, with several repairs needed. Does not include manual, or original packaging. NO REMOTE OR OTHER ACCESSORIES ARE INCLUDED. Unit shows some wear and scratches, but overall is in good cosmetic condition. (SEE PICTURES). The knobs are all present, with all of the illumination working, and the knobs, and buttons all appear too function as theyre supposed to. However, due to the unit not ejecting Deck A and Deck B has issues playing in reverse, testing was no longer possible.

The left channel is much more powerful than the right channel for some reason (the right channel is about 60-70% quieter) and thats why I am selling it for spares/repairs only.
