The traditional symmetrical appearance and the beautiful design of the power meter are distinctive. It does not have the flamboyance of the 510 or 250, which were famous machines of the American era, but the sound is quite good and not to be taken for fools! When you actually listen to it, you can hear the sharpness and response of the Marantz sound itself! I took a peek inside the unit and found that the power transistor in the final stage was made by Fairchild in the U.S.A. The transistor is a basic model, but it has a quintessential Marantz sound. The output power is 80W+80W, which is high power, and the performance is surprisingly high, which is hard to imagine from the compact appearance!
