I have up for sale a beautifully clean near top of the line AV receiver. This is the Marantz SR5001, made in Japan 2006-2007. This unit cost me about $500 back in 2007. I’d probably still be using it now except that there is something wrong with the HDMI circuit. The unit will turn on and go to the chosen HDMI input mode, but will take several minutes to start working. Video works fine on component video cables with either coax digital, optical digital or RCA cables for sound. Has so many inputs and outputs for a variety of equipment! All other analog and digital inputs and outputs seem to work fine as do all of the 7.1 speaker channels. Includes fully functional remote control and owners manual. Unit is big and heavy weighing in at 25 pounds.

Marantz SR 5004 HDMI 7.1 Digital AV Receiver defekt. Habe ihn vor einiger Zeit als defekt gekauft, wollte mich einarbeiten und reparieren. Da ich keine Zeit für dieses Vorhaben finde, geb ich ihn nun wieder ab. Zustand optisch ist gut bis sehr gut, technisch gibt er nur keinen ton aus.Ob bereits ein Reparaturversuch durch den Vorbesitzer stattgefunden hat kann ich nicht sagen, allerdings fehlten die Gehäuseschrauben. Innen sieht er für mich unberührt aus, all zu viel sehen kann man da aber eh nicht. Ich ging von einem Muting Problem aus. Geliefert wird nur der Receiver ohne weiteres Zubehör.

I am selling a Marantz 7.1 surround sound receiver with 4k HDMI support. It has 140Watts per channel which is more than enough for any small to medium home theater. It has Apple Airplay, Pandora, and Spotify support It is in very nice cosmetic condition. It has a few light scratches and a couple of small dings if looking very critically but I cant notice any from a couple of feet away or from the normal front view. It also has scratches around the HDMI out/arc port but it is on the back side and there are no problems with the port. I have attempted to capture the blemishes which I see when looking critically in the pictures. I have been using it and have tested it to ensure that it is fully working. I have too many receivers right now and need to sell some off. . This one is too nice for my gym so I am selling it and will use a lesser model there. I have sold lots of receivers over the years as I upgrade (my wife says I have a sickness of always tinkering and upgrading with audio equipment).
