Marantz SC-6 Produktinformationen Marantz SC-6 Esotec goldfarbene Front, Anschlüsse für Phono MM+MC (MM 3-stufig anpassbar), 2 x Line, 2x Tape, 2 Paar Ausgänge (von der Front getrennt schaltbar), kanalgetrennte Klangregler (abschaltbar), Loudnessfunktion, Höhen- und Tiefenfilter (Subsonic), Kopfhöreranschluß 1978 brachte Marantz eine neue Serie auf den Markt, die sich im High-End-Bereich ansiedeln sollte und den Namen ESOTEC erhielt. Zunächst gab es einen Vorverstärker (SC-7), eine Endstufe (SM-7) und einen Tuner (ST-7), sowie einen Vollverstärker (PM-8), der den SC-7 und den SM-7 zusammenfasste. Bereits ein Jahr später wurde die Serie erweitert um die etwas kleineren Modelle SC-6, SM-6 und als Kombination dieser beiden als Vollverstärker den PM-6. Diese waren nun erschwinglicher, kostete der erste Vorverstärker SC-7 noch 3.000,- DM, war der SC-6 schon 1.000,- DM preiswerter. Obschon er nahezu alles bot, was auch der größere Bruder konnte. Die Phono-Abteilung konnte MM und MC und war mit 14 FET-Transistoren bestückt (damals aufsehenerregend). Er war voll DC-gekoppelt und war (für Marantz-Verhältnisse) sehr solide und übersichtlich aufgebaut. Unten in der Mitte steckt normalerweise eine Abdeckung aus Aluminium mit dem großen Marantz-Schriftzug, diese fehlte aber leider bei diesem Exemplar. Dabei gehört gerade dieses Exemplar zur ersten Serie, erkennbar an dem ESOTEC-Schriftzug oben rechts, die nachfolgenden Serien trugen diesen nicht mehr. Es gab als Zubehör aufwändige Holzgehäuse zu kaufen. Unter Sammlern werden diese Esotec-Geräte heute noch sehr hoch gehandelt. Unit was working great for year when it suddenly stopped making sound. Not sure what the issue is. Given that it powers on but does not make sound it is being sold as is for parts.

Listing is for an ESOTEC series Marantz stereo amplifier console, model SC-6. The console itself has one missing stub on the bottom, and has gentle wear around the outside, but is otherwise in good condition. It has been tested, and powers on. Using a Gamecube/TV setup, we tested the phono, TV/aux, and tuner inputs with the Tape 1 output, and the audio filtered through each one without a problem. I didnt go in-depth on testing the knobs and additional plugs, so please keep this in mind. Also note that the plug is a Type-C - two round prongs. I purchased a cheap converter plug to test it with Type-A, and will include it in with the console. Proceeds go towards student loans. Thank you for your interest.

Biete hier eine inzwischen rar gewordene Vor/Endstufen Kombi von Marantz an. Die Gerte stammen aus der legendren ESOTEC Serie. Der Vorverstrker SC-6 und die Endstufe SM-6 waren zur damaligen Zeit ( gebaut von 1979- 1983 ) mit ber 5000 D-Mark ein fr die meisten unerschwingliches Traumgespann. Fr die technischen Daten und Ausstattung gibt es im Netz reichlich Informationen. Meine beiden hier besitzen ein schnes Holzgehuse ( kostete Aufpreis ) mit ein paar Macken oben auf der Front, aber sonst ist es gut erhalten. Die VU-Meter sowie alle Kippschalter, Tasten und Regler funktionieren einwandfrei. Da ich ber die Jahre nur den Phono Eingang nutzte und kein Tapedeck und keinen CD-Player habe, kann ich ber die Funktion dieser Ausgnge kein Urteil abgeben. Aber bei der Qualitt von den alten Marantz Gerten sollte alles bestens funktionieren. Ein schnes Paar Zeitgeschichte fr den Sammler oder Marantz Fan.
