But it will likely not pass through higher bandwidth content that requires HDMI 2.1, which is only high-end gaming (Playstation 5, latest XBox, or super high-end PC games.) So unless youre an avid video gamer, this wont matter; this unit will perfectly handle all of the latest movie/TV/streaming video and audio content from any source (e.g. 4k UHD BluRay Players, Nvidia Shield, Apple TV 4k, cable set top box, Kaleidescape, etc.)**While Audyssey is built in to the processor and can be used with just the included hardware in this auction, you can also purchase the Audyssey mobile app and/or PC software to enhance your control of the Audyssey room correction results. The primary room can be be configured as a 11.2 channel Dolby Atmos surround sound configuration or anywhere in between. Personally I ran a Atmos surround sound in my living room, a 2 channel in my bedroom, and 3rd room with a simple sound bar all from this unit sharing all the inputs. Included is the optional rack mount mount kit $120 value + the Audyssey Pro 32 Kit with the keyed license for this specific Marantz AV8802A. Normally you need to be a registered custom installer to have access to purchase this XLR microphone calibration kit. It allows you to highly calibrate from small complex shaped rooms to full fledge 300 person theaters. If audio is your concern, this setup is fantastic and super fun to work with. Check out the calibration results I posted above from my setup to see how much it helps. Its night and day difference to the ears versus the standard calibration mic they include in the box. The Audyssey Pro kit is normally $700, and the license for each device is $200. Im listing everything for $2000 and can help you get started.
