Es ist auch die letzte Massiv- und Metall-Reihe, bevor Marantz von Philips übernommen wurde und die Plastikära begann. It is the second model counting from the top (after 1300DC) dated between the 1978-79. It is also the last solid and metal range before Marantz was taken over by Philips and the plastic era began. For those who know Marantz: model 1180DC is actually a 3250B preamplifier and a 170DC power amplifier in one chassis. Specification enclosed. 1180DC integrated amplifier For parts or repair This is in near pristine cosmetic condition, but it is not working. It powers up and the main amplifiers work but the preamplifiers do not. This testing was done using the Pre Out/Main In jacks connected to another stereo. The output from the Pre Out jacks is silence on one channel and low volume on the other channel. A line level signal to the Main In jacks plays great...this part rocks. The top cover has been previously removed but I do not see any sign of work done. The bottom cover has never been removed based on the condition of the screw heads. One of the pictures provided shows the only flaws I can see on the faceplate. So there you have it. The 1180DC of someones dreams if not for the failed preamplifier. Maybe you are the one to make it work? Will be packed exceptionally well for shipping. Check my feedback.

Reconditioned! Marantz 1180DC Integrated Amplifier! Beautiful Condition! This amplifier has been fully cleaned and tested! Works beautifully! All pots and switches have been deoxidized allowing for smooth and crackle free adjustments! This amplifier was one owner who stored it in a hifi cabinet. It looks completely untouched! Cool vintage Marantz amplifier. Both channels work but one will all the sudden get real loud. Sort of like its turned all the way up on that channel. If I remember right when it happens the relay kicks off. The case has marks and scratches. Its missing a push button but the switch is fine and a faceplate screw. All lettering appears intact.
