Used mostly as a preamp, so the 9 built-in amplifiers have very low hours and only to drive height speakers .. never pushed anywhere close to its limits.. .. it also has the $200 Auro-3D upgrade ( my favorite upmixer)... Works great..The only issues are the HDMI monitor 1 (arc) doesnt work.. .which never was a problem for me (I still do not use it on my Marantz av8805a processor) being I use media players and a 4k Blu-ray player which in my opinion is far better than the apps on a tv .. and of course, there are many HDMI splitters available to buy online..also, the original remote stopped working, so I ordered an aftermarket remote, which works fine and easily navigates through all the functions.. I later researched how to repair the remote ( used replacement temotes for the sr7010 are selling for $200, which of course is insane and greedy) ) . I was able to get the original remote working ( over time oils,dust debris, and particles get under the rubber pad and can stop the buttons/pads from making good contact and therefore stops the remote from functioning properly. .the only function that does not work on the original remote is the channel up and down button.. which is only a problem if you want to have the remote control your tv , cable orr multimedia player functions.. I will include the aftermarket remote and the original remote.Please take note that the original remote may still have problems ( a YouTube video instructed me to wiggle all the pads/buttons back and forth to clean out debris.. I had no problem operating the remote after, but it may still require more attention .. Everything else is in great working order, and again, I have used the built-in amplifiers minimally. The GUI displays are vivid/ bright.. this has been stored in my closet for 18+ months ..it comes from a smoke and cat free environment .. includes calibration mic, remote, A.M. antenna and original box.. please note that this has 9 built-in amplifiers .. to get 11 channels you will need a two channel external amplifier but, it is not needed to get a bottom layer of 5 speakers and 4 height speakers which is a vast improvement over a single pair of top speakers.. also, please note that I have this listed on other platforms, so it may be pulled .. This auction is for a used Marantz SR7010 home theater receiver with 9 channels of internal amplification. Introduced in 2015 at a list price of $2200, this was Marantzs top-of-the-line receiver at that time. I purchased this unit brand new from Crutchfield in 2016. This model has a generous number of features including 4K passthrough/upsampling (all HDMI inputs are HDCP 2.2 compliant), Dolby Atmos, Audyssey MultEQ XT32, Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, phono stage, RCA preamp outputs for all channels of Zone 1, HDMI & RCA outputs for Zone 2, RCA outputs for Zone 3, 7.1 channel analog inputs, and an HD Radio tuner (something missing from modern Marantz receivers). Power output was rated at 125 wpc with 2 channels driven. This receiver was used almost daily from 2016 until recently in my 7.1.2 system. It has been very reliable but has two issues. The first is that the volume control on the remote no longer works. I got around this issue by using the volume control on my TV attached to the receivers ARC input. (Ive also noticed that replacement remotes are available at low cost here on eBay.) The second issue is that Ive (very rarely) heard distortion in the surround/back/left and right/height channels. I partially resolved this issue by using a separate power amp for the surround rear channels. The issue happened so rarely in the right height channel that it did not bother me. The other 7 channels operated with no problems in my experience. Cosmetically, the receiver has no apparent flaws, and this sale includes the original packaging and all original accessories. Im selling this receiver AS-IS and with a low starting bid price (and no reserve) in light of the issues described above. I will ship double boxed within the US one business day after receiving payment.

Used mostly as a preamp so the 9 built in amplifiers have very low hours and only to drive height speakers .. never pushed anywhere close to its limits.. .. it also has the $200 Auro-3D upgrade ( my favorite upmixer)... Works great..The only issue is the HDMI monitor 1 (arc) doesnt work.. .which never was a problem for me being I use media players and a 4k Blu-ray player which in my opinion is far better than apps on a tv.. and of course there are many different splitters on Amazon.. All the GUI displays are vivid/ bright.. this has spent a year in my closet ..comes from a smoke and cat free environment .. includes calibration mic, remote, A.M. antenna and original box..please note that this has 9 built in amplifiers .. to get 11 channels you will need a two channel external amplifier but, it is not needed to get a bottom layer of 5 speakers and 4 height speakers which is a vast improvement over a single pair of top speakers.. also please note that I have this listed on other platforms so it may be pulled .. lExperience immersive sound with the Marantz SR7010 AV Receiver.
