You are bidding on an original production Marantz Model 7C preamplifier, flawlessly functioning and in excellent condition with only a few insignificant signs of wear. This unit has not been modified from its stock condition, nor mined for parts like so many of those you find on the market, and therefore is extremely rare in such condition. I purchased this unit a few years ago from a reputable vintage hifi dealer in the US, where it was checked and serviced. The preamp has been well cared for since, running in my system on a voltage transformer in a smoke free household. Those who are familiar with the Marantz 7 know that it is renowned for its special sound and unmatched musicality. The unit comes with its original wooden case and a full functioning set of Amperex Bugle Boy Tubes, the same tubes that were originally specified for the preamplifier by Saul Marantz.

Marantz 7c Preamplifier - Serviced and Sounds Good This Marantz 7c was serviced by a professional technician and is in excellent working condition.. As can been seen in the pictures it is in very nice condition. The unit has had new 7C rubber mounts installed and appropriate capacitors to bring it up to proper operational conditions. All tubes are Telefunken Smooth Plate 12AX7. The full functioning unit with professional servicing should work and sound excellent for many years. Like all used equipment I sell, I have described this unit accurately and show unit properly in pictures. Due to potential buyer issues, the unit is being sold as-is and returns are not accepted. Also most of my listings are also listed locally on clist so the units may or may not be available toward the end of the auction period. I also have tubes for sale in separate listings. Local pickup is also available in the Los Angeles area. My goal in packing is the have the unit to arrive to you in the condition it was sent. Heres a vintage plug and play ready Marantz 7C stereo preamplifier, serial #12395. This is an early edition with champagne face. Tubes include 6x Mullard 12AX7 tubes. Technician spent 2 weeks to completely restore with NOS Sprague caps and sounds amazing. No static even while adjusting volume control. Face is in amazing condition. Very clean unit. Nice lot of Original 1960s 7C champagne silver tone early Marantz 7 Preamplifier knob set. Four (4) Large Four (4) Small Knob. Nice set of eight (8) TOTAL. They ALL seat well on the knob shaft and there are light marks here and there but nothing major. In very good shape for 60 years with oxidation on all.
