This is a genuine Marantz 45rpm record adapter for Marantz turntables.Came with a Marantz Model 6170 turntable, but fits many others of similar vintage. In excellent condition. I see no flaws at all. This listing is for: A vintage Marantz Model 6100 Turntable with Auto Return, Auto Shutoff, Tone Arm Cueing up and down, original slpipmat, anti skating weight, 45 adapter and Audio Technica stylus/Needle. Looks and works very nice. Please use the many pictures to see the actual aesthetic condition of the table. The unit was tested, serviced and everything works great as it should. This semi-automatic turntable has been gone through, is super clean, fully functional, and is ready to go. There is no plastic cover included with this listing, These Marantz tables look so much better when it can actually be seen. All the woodgrain, chrome and the anti-static weight look too good to hide behind some glare covered plastic. In order to get ready for sale, A new belt was installed The filter capacitor that prevents pops in your speakers when the platter motor switches off and on has been replaced with new. The mechanism has been cleaned and re-oiled/greased where needed. lubricated the spindle. Cleaned out and refreshed dampening oil to the cueing riser for proper lowering speed. Treated the wood veneer with restoring oil. I tracked this cartridge to 2 grams and found the anti-skate weight to work nicely around the second slot from the left. Sound and Functions tested and everything works as designed. Condition is very good throughout with some marks on the base and some oxidation on the platter. The mat is soft and pliable and still has the original chrome Marantz center badge. Platter has a slight wobble to it but nothing that effects play or function. The original cords are in good shape. The original head shell is included and is detachable. You could get a second headshell and swap between elliptical and conical within seconds. I will include a copy of the owners manual.
