This is a Marantz double cassette deck, model SD4050. The main unit is generally in good condition, but unfortunately, there is peeling damage on the front of the cassette holder for Deck A (for playback only). Please check the images for details on the damaged area. Playback on Deck A and recording/playback on Deck B work without issues. The item is categorized as junk because the fast-forward function often fails and stops unexpectedly. The reason for this is unclear, as it was previously functioning normally. In cases where fast-forwarding does not work after changing cassettes, using the reverse side allows for normal fast-forwarding and rewinding. The unit comes with a remote control and two RCA cables. Additionally, two used cassette tapes are included for immediate testing and use. The remote control is from a different Marantz model but works normally. The RCA cables were previously used and checked for connectivity, but are considered bonus items. While this item is not fully operational, it is usable and categorized as junk. The included tapes are as follows: TDK SA-C60 (no broken tabs, no card, no label) - Type II (CrO2) high position, and TDK AD60 (no broken tabs, no writing on the card, with label) - Type I (normal) position.
