For sale here is a McCormack Audio MAP-1 multi-channel analog preamplifier. If you are looking at this, you are surely familiar with the McCormack name and its heritage of excellence. This product exemplifies that. It is ruggedly built (heavy) and very sturdy. The sound quality is on par with other high-end audio names. NOTE - I have seen this item described previously elsewhere as a processor. It is NOT a processor, as it does not accept or output any digital signals, only analog ones. The letters in the model name stand for the description that follows - Multichannel Analog Preamp. What separates this unit from almost any other in its category is the presence of TWO (2) sets of multi-channel analog inputs. This is designed for the discerning user that loves multi-channel music and has separate dedicated multi-channel source components, such as DVD-A, SACD, or BD players. There is one (1) set of matching multi-channel analog outputs, along with a now rarely seen tape out connection. The remote is included, and has been re-faced with a new labeling sticker. The power cord and original box with heavy form-fitting foam inserts are also included. I cannot locate the users manual, but will include it if I can find it.
