Most likely the wires or ribbons are loose, the glue is no longer holding them in place. This is not uncommon for older Magneplanar speakers. You are looking at a pair of working Magneplanar speakers. I have been using them for several days. They are really great to listen to. They are 48” tall by almost 15” wide. If you are not familiar with these I would recommend a google search. There is a placement ratio for how close to the wall they should be. There are also reviews. I would prefer a local pickup but will ship. The black fabric does not have any tears or holes. There is some dust on them. One of the nameplates has a piece of tape. The screw that tightens the speaker wire coming uses an Allen wrench. It is taped to the nameplate. If you have a cat I heard there is a protector for the fabric. The pictures should show details and condition. F

They do require a certain listening area and placement. They are electrostatic and differ from other types of speakers. They work well but are not visually perfect. Note the hole in the center speaker cabinet which is where it mounts. There are small holes in the fabric and the wood on the sides is chipped.

Just a few words of warning and guidance to anyone looking to purchase second-hand Maggies, Ive recently noticed there are some over-inflated priced Magnepans for sale. Unless youre very lucky most pre-2010circa Maggies will need some sort of servicing (even if its just regluing wires), so do your research, listen to the speakers properly before parting with any cash, listen closely for rattles and be sure that bass/mid and treble frequencies are fully working because if theyre not its going to cost money to put right. Hallo, Sie bieten auf zwei Designer -high end- Lautsprecher von MAGNEPAN, - Small Magneplanar -.Die Lautsprecher sind sehr flach, mit schwarzem Stoff bezogen, und mit einem Chromrahmen versehen.Stylisch und grandioser Klang In Kombination.Die Bedienungsanleitung ist auch dabei.Sie sind seinerzeit neu angeschafft worden und waren nur in privater Benutzung!Sie gehörten zu einer kompletten Anlage, deren andere Teile ich auch eingestellt habe.Wir haben die Anlage extra noch einmal aufgebaut, um die Funktionstüchtigkeit zu überprüfen - die Lautsprecher funktionieren super! Falls jemand Interesse an mehreren Teilen oder vielleicht an der kompletten Anlage hat, kann die dementsprechenden Verbindungskabel mit erwerben. Schaut die Fotos an - sie sind wichtiger Bestandteil der Beschreibung und man kann Alles gut erkennen!Schaut auch in meine anderen Aktionen!
